need to know the bios chip location, i need to change the serial number so replacement mb matches case I read a chip lbe will not read it was the only winbond chip i could see

yea when i try to open the bin in lbe++, i get a pop up error "source array was not long enough, check the srcindex length, and the array's lower bound

this is easy for you
Just process as you remove password exactly
Extra Security tools => HP security tools=> dump Cleaner => open File then process

i read the chip followed your instructions saved as new file wrote it to the chip and i get a non functioning unit maybe i have the wrong chip
